The Views On Learning Board of Directors has announced the Technology Innovation Grants for Educational Resources award recipients for 2023. Annually, VOL awards up to $200,000 in grants to schools in our 23 Educational Broadband Service (EBS) areas. Accredited schools may apply for up to $25,000 (based on enrollment) for innovative technology to be used for student instruction.
The following schools/districts have been awarded grants during this cycle:
Mishawaka Education Foundation Twin Branch Robotics Fund $10,000 for travel to national tournament
St. Matthews Cathedral Cathedral School of St. Matthew $15,038 for student tablets
Jefferson Elementary School Jet Fuel Robotics Team $2,500 for competition expenses
Mishawaka Education Foundation Mishawaka HS Engineering & Technology Dept $24,494 for robotics curriculum and hardware
The annual grant application window is open each year beginning February 1st through October 31st. Grants are typically awarded within a month of receipt. Additional grant application opportunities may be made available as funding permits.
